“Spider-Man: No Way Home” will likely feature violent fight scenes, according to the film’s star, Tom Holland.

Holland recently spoke with TV Globo about the upcoming film, which is due out in December. He said that there will be massive fight scenes, warning fans that the scenes might be a little violent.

  • “There are some fight scenes in this movie that are very violent. And it’s a fighting style different from what we’ve seen before. But really you will get to see Spider-Man using his fists in a ‘fight or flight’ situation,” Holland said, according to a translated report.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will be getting another trilogy in the MCU, producer says

It makes sense that “Spider-Man: No Way Home” will be violent considering that multiple Spider-Man villains will show up in the film as we’ve seen in the trailers, as I wrote for the Deseret News.

This aligns with previous comments from Holland. The “Spider-Man” star told GamesRadar that “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” that the project won’t be overly lighthearted.

Holland, who is running the media gauntlet for the project, told GamesRadar that “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is “brutal” and “the best Spider-Man film we’ve ever made.”

  • “It’s not fun, this film. It’s dark and it’s sad,” he said.
  • He added, “You’re going to see characters that you love go through things that you would never wish for them to go through.”
