Get up to speed on the Utah Utes’ 2022 recruiting class

Wide receiver Sidney Mbanasor announced his commitment to Utah on Tuesday night via Twitter.

Mbanasor is a 6-foot-5, 210-pound receiver from Pflugerville High School in Texas and held offers from Texas Tech and Vanderbilt.

Steve Bartle of UteZone reports that, though Mbanasor is listed as a tight end on recruiting services, he committed as a wide receiver.

Mbanasor is the 14th commitment to Utah’s 2022 recruiting class, and he is the third wide receiver to commit to the Utes, joining three-star receiver Ryan Peppins (5-8, 168 pounds) and three-star wide receiver Chris Reed (6-1, 190 pounds).
