5A First Round

Park City 15, Highland 13

Park City’s two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning were just enough to hold off the Rams. Skye Schlopy hit a triple and MacLaren Tyrrell threw all seven innings with seven strikeouts.

Viewmont 22, Provo 7

Viewmont defeated Provo in three innings, scoring 22 runs off 20 hits. Anna Moore had three RBIs including a home run and a double.

Box Elder 12, Timpview 1

Box Elder shut down Timpview, scoring 12 runs on 14 hits within five innings. Box Elder also had 10 RBIs. Tegan Mecham had five strikeouts from the circle.

Skyline 11, Brighton 1

Skyline soared past Brighton in five innings, scoring 11 runs on 12 hits. Brooke Renza and Hailey Louder each recorded three RBIs.

Mountain View 26, Olympus 11

T. Lewis had three doubles and four RBIs in the win for Mountain View over Olympus in the 5A first round.

4A Second Round (Game 1)

Tooele 6, Green Canyon 2

Ayden Fitch went 3 for 3 with two doubles and three RBIs and Attlyn Johnston dominated in the circle only allowing two hits and striking out 16 as Tooele rolled past Green Canyon for the 4A second round win.

Bear River 12, Hurricane 0

Kate Dahle hit a double and picked up the victory in the circle to help Bear River take the shutout win over Hurricane in Game 1 of their 4A Super Regional series.

Snow Canyon 19, Cedar Valley 4

Emma Bingham had four RBIs, a home run and a triple as Snow Canyon defeated Cedar Valley in the 4A second round.

Canyon View 11, Dixie 1

Canyon View defeated Dixie in five innings, scoring 11 runs on 14 hits. Payton Lister had four RBIs, including two home runs.

Ridgeline 8, Cedar City 7

Kayle Smith doubled and drove in two runs as Ridgeline rallied with a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to force extra innings and then won it in the eight for the Game 1 win of the 4A Super Regional series.

Crimson Cliffs 12, Desert Hills 0

Kya Burningham, Afton Roberts and Emma Shakespeare each hit a home run in the win for Crimson Cliffs.

Uintah 13, Mountain Crest 5

Uintah scored seven runs in the fifth inning to shut down Mountain Crest. Abigail Brown and Quaylee Smuin each knocked one out of the park.

Stansbury 11, Sky View 5

The Stansbury Stallions galloped over Sky View scoring 11 runs on 14 hits also committing no errors. Kesiah Philpot, Kaycee Thornock and Kyla Collins each hit doubles.

3A Quarterfinals

Manti 12, Grand 2

Katie Larsen, Ashley Rasmussen and Haylee Daniels all drove in a pair of runs as Manti marched through the 3A winners bracket with a six-inning victory over Grand.

Grantsville 10, South Summit 5

August Cowan, Breana Hiatt and Hillary Cloward each drove in a pair of runs as Grantsville used a four-run sixth inning to pull away from South Summit for the 3A winners bracket victory. Cowan struck out 13 batters to keep South Summit’s potent line-up in check after a four-run first inning.

3A Semifinals

Grantsville 3, Manti 1

Defense and pitching thrived for both sides in Grantsville’s 2-run win over Manti. August Cowan was the winning pitcher for the Cowboys as she helped her side advance to the 3A championship.

2A Quarterfinals

Enterprise 10, Duchesne 0

Enterprise scored 10 runs on 14 hits and only committed one error. Brooke Humphries knocked one out of the park. Hali Christensen and Dykell Jones each had 2 RBI’s.

Beaver 5, Gunnison Valley 2

Sadie Bradshaw had a home run and an RBI in the win for Beaver pulled away from Gunnison Valley in the seventh inning for the 2A quarterfinal victory.

2A Semifinals

Enterprise 14, Beaver 8

Addison Nelson had four RBIs and Noah Moyle earned the win pitching as Enterprise took the win over Beaver in the 2A semifinals.
