“The Flash” director Andy Muschietti has shared a first-look image at the logo for Michael Keaton’s return as Batman.
The logo, which you can see below or on Instagram, resembles the logo Keaton’s version of Batman wore in 1989’s “Batman” and 1992’s “Batman Returns.”
However, the image shows a splatter of blood across the logo.
Is Michael Keaton returning as Batman?
In June 2020, reports suggested that Keaton would return as Batman in the upcoming “The Flash” movie. He would star alongside Ezra Miller in the upcoming film, which comes from Warner Bros.
The film is expected to introduce the multiverse in the DC Extended Universe of films. It would connect this new “Flash” film with the “Aquaman” and “Justice League” movies and Keaton’s “Batman” series.
We’ve seen hints of that multiverse as Miller’s version of the Flash showed up in The CW’s crossover television event “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” In that show, he met Grant Gustin’s version of the Flash.
There are also rumors that Ben Affleck’s version of Batman — who appeared in “Justice League” — might make an appearance, too, according to AV Club.
