Marvel Studios

Marvel is back with a new Disney+ series, this time bringing us into the time-traveling epic of “Loki.”

Details for ‘Loki’ Episode 1

  • Date: Wednesday, June 9
  • Time: 1:01 a.m. MDT (12:01 a.m. PDT)
  • Location: Disney+
  • Titles: Episode 1
  • Run time: 51 minutes

What is “Loki” about?

“Loki” kicks off right after a scene in “Avengers: Endgame” where the 2012 version of Loki steals the Tesseract and disappears. We soon see that he is arrested by the Time Variance Authority, who charged him with creating a variant timeline.

From there, all we know is that Loki is a Variant of the main timeline, and now he has to help the TVA solve some sort of time-traveling cases. Or something.

‘Loki’ cast

Here’s a breakdown of the “Loki” cast.

  • Tom Hiddleston
  • Owen Wilson
  • Gugu Mbatha-Raw
  • Sophia Di Martino
  • Wunmi Mosaku
  • Richard E. Grant.
  • Kate Herron is the director of “Loki,” and Michael Waldron is head writer.

How to stream or watch ‘Loki’

“Loki” — like other Marvel television shows — airs exclusively on Disney+. You will need a subscription for the streaming service, which can be bought at monthly or yearly rates at the Disney+ website. There are currently no free trial offers available for streaming.

  • Disney+ costs $7.99 per month or $79.99 for the year
  • Hulu and ESPN Plus can be bundled in for $13.99 per month.
