Has “The Mandalorian” started filming its third season yet? Lead actor Pedro Pascal has confirmed that nothing has started.

  • “We haven’t shot a third season,” he said on Twitter.

Pascal recently appeared on the new “Actors on Actors” video series from Variety, which features two actors interviewing each other.

Pascal recently appeared with Ewan McGregor, who is filming his upcoming “Star Wars” series, “Obi-Wan Kenobi.”

When does ‘Season 3’ come out?

It’s unclear. Previous reports suggested “The Mandalorian” Season 3 would debut before Christmas 2021. However, we later learned that there would be a new show called “The Book of Boba Fett,” which would take that slot from “The Mandalorian.” The third season was pushed back, but it’s unclear when it will be released.

However, “The Mandalorian” Season 3 started pre-production in April 2020. Sources told Variety that Jon Favreau has been “writing Season 3 for a while.” However, it’s unclear if that was production on “The Mandalorian” or “The Book of Boba Fett.”
