Utah State came up just short of ending Boise State’s 10-game winning streak Tuesday at the Spectrum, as the Broncos were able to pull out a 62-59 victory.

Here are three keys to Utah State’s 62-59 loss to Boise State:

  • The Aggies lost their fourth straight game despite taking a 59-56 lead into the final minute. 3-pointers from Boise State’s Emmanuel Akot and Marcus Shaver Jr. in the last 51 seconds proved to be the difference.
  • Boise State center Mladen Armus led the Broncos to their 11th straight win by putting up season-highs in points (22) and rebounds (19).
  • Playing without guard Rylan Jones, the Aggies went 4 for 18 from 3-point range while shooting just 38.5% from the field overall. Justin Bean (14 points, 12 rebounds) and RJ Eytle-Rock (14 points) led USU in scoring.
