Lindsay Lohan is joining the cast of ABC's "Ugly Betty" for six episodes.
Really. No lie. (And even DesNews film critic Jeff Vice thought it was a hoax when he first heard the news.)
Lohan, who starred in the movie "Mean Girls," will play "a mean girl from high school who suddenly resurfaces in Betty's life." Her first appearance is in the May 22 season finale; she'll continue through five episodes of the third season this fall.
Long before she started making tabloid headlines, Lohan was a remarkably talented actress. Hopefully, she's turned things around.
And this "Betty" stint sounds like lots of fun.
