New films in theaters this week:

--"Flight of the Red Balloon" (not rated), a French feature, starring Juliette Binoche, that was inspired by the 1950s classic fantasy.

-- "Girls Rock!" (rated PG), a documentary about an all-girl, rock 'n' roll band camp.

-- "The Happening" (rated R), M. Night Shyamalan's latest, a sci-fi/thriller with a strong environmental message.

-- "The Incredible Hulk" (rated PG-13), a follow-up, starring Edward Norton, to Ang Lee's 2003 superhero movie.

-- "Priceless" (rated PG-13), a romantic comedy starring Audrey Tautou.

Of the independent and art-house releases, only the "Girls Rock!" is really consistent. Though Audrey Tautou nearly saves "Priceless" by herself.

And as for the major studio films, Shyamalan's surprisingly gory "Happening" is so awful that it's laughable. But the "Hulk" follow-up has some satisfying action and is pretty fun.

Which of these films, if any of them, are you planning to see this weekend?
