Nickelback has been forced to cancel the second leg of their No Fixed Address North American tour - including their July 5 stop at USANA Amphitheatre - due to an operable cyst being discovered on lead singer Chad Kroeger's voice box.
Kroeger will undergo surgery in 3 weeks, according to a statement from the band. Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
I am sorry I have to interrupt the party this summer and I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans Kroeger said in a prepared statement. I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible.
Nickelback expects to resume their tour in Europe in September.
