“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” director J.J. Abrams recently revealed the full running time for his upcoming film. And apparently it’s a little shorter than expected.

Abrams told Entertainment Weekly’s radio show Monday that the ninth “Star Wars” film will run for two hours and 21 minutes, or thereabouts, give or take a minute or two for the credits.

This makes “Rise of Skywalker” the second-longest “Star Wars” film in history. “The Last Jedi” clocks in at 152 minutes, which is the longest of any “Star Wars” movie.

Previous reports suggested the film would be the longest of any “Star Wars” films at 155 minutes, which equals two hours and 35 minutes, as previously reported by the Deseret News. But apparently that won’t be the case.
