Cafe Niche, 779 E. 300 South, will be hosting a special four-course New Year’s Eve dinner celebration December 31 from 5-10 p.m. The cost is $60 and does not include beverages, tax or gratuity. The menu includes: an amuse bouche of deviled egg; first course choices of carrot bisque or roasted beets, main course selections of lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, green pepper crusted tenderloin, roasted game hen or eggplant stuffed artichoke; and an intermezzo of verjus sorbet. Oasis Cafe, 151 S. 500 East, will be offering a special four-course prix fixe menu for New Year’s Eve from 5-9 p.m. on December 31. Pioneer Theatre Company, 300 S. 1400 East, will host auditions for “Something Rotten!” on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020.
