Vanessa Bryant celebrated the Los Angeles Lakers’ championship win in a new social media post.
- Bryant posted a photo of her late husband Kobe Bryant and current Los Angeles Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka on her Instagram Story.
- “Congratulations Uncle P! Congratulations @Lakers Kobe was right, RP! ‘Stay the course blockout the noise.’ @kobebryant Wish Kobe and Gigi were here to see this.”
- Pelinka said after the title win: “I guess you were right, man. You give me the energy to do it.”
Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna Bryant, died in a tragic helicopter crash in January 2020. The death sent a shockwave throughout the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers responded by paying tribute to Kobe Bryant in multiple ways, including a “Mamba” chant in every huddle and “Black Mamba” jerseys.
