“The Masked Singer” will return for another week after some records were set earlier this fall.

The Oct. 14 episode — titled “The Group B Play Offs — Cloudy with a Chance of Clues” — will feature playoffs between those in Group B. That means the following contestants will battle:

  • Serpent.
  • Crocodile.
  • Baby Alien.
  • Seahorse.
  • Whatchamacallit.

Group B actually made history. The group’s member — the Gremlin — took off his mask to eliminate himself. That’s never been seen before in the show’s history.

  • The Gremlin revealed himself to be Mickey Rourke of all people.
  • “I want to take this (mask) off right now,” he said.
  • “Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon responded: “I don’t know what’s happening, ladies and gentlemen. This is a ‘Masked Singer’ first.”

Rourke said his decision to join was kind of casual, according to People magazine.

  • “I was just in the neighborhood,” he said. “I liked the show. I watched like four episodes and they asked me, ‘Would you be interested?’”
