It might not fall on a Tuesday this year, but Oct. 4 is National Taco Day.
It’s a day that many Americans probably won’t need much encouragement to celebrate. Americans ate 4.5 billion tacos in 2019 — which translates to 490,000 miles of tacos, or enough to stretch to the moon and back, according to NationalTacoDay.com.
There are plenty of restaurants offering deals to celebrate this year’s National Taco Day, including Cafe Rio, El Pollo Loco and Taco Bell. Here are some of the deals you’ll be able to find on Oct. 4.
Cafe Rio
Through Oct. 4, you can get $7 off an order of $15 when you order Cafe Rio through GrubHub.
Chronic Tacos
Chronic Tacos is offering one free taco on Oct. 4 as a reward on the Chronic Tacos app.
Del Taco
Del Taco is celebrating National Taco Day all month long with “Tacoberfest.” The chain will gave away free tacos every Saturday in October. From Oct. 3-4, The Del Taco will be free with any purchase, using a coupon in the Del Taco app.
El Pollo Loco
El Pollo Loco is celebrating its new curbside pickup service with a special offer for National Taco Day. Customers who place a curbside order with the El Pollo Loco app on Oct. 4 will receive two free Tacos Al Carbons on the next visit.
Jack in the Box
On Oct. 4, you can get two free tacos with any purchase on the Jack in the Box app.
Moe’s Southwest Grill
Moe’s Southwest Grill is offering $5 off its Taco Meal Kit on Oct. 4 to loyalty members that have signed up through the Moe’s Rewards app.
Taco Bell
To celebrate National Taco Day, Taco Bell is launching a new “Taco Gifter” service. Using the Taco Bell app or website, the gift will be delivered as a $2 egift card that can be used for in-store or drive-thru pick up orders. A $0.35 transaction fee will apply.
