On Friday, Disney announced in a tweet that it would be rebooting its “Disney Bedtime Hotline” for the rest of April to provide kids with free goodnight messages from their favorite classic Disney characters.

By calling 1-877-7-MICKEY, parents can choose between five different character messages from Disney’s original crew: Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck or Goofy. The characters will give a brief goodnight message before the line disconnects, CNN reports.

The hotline is limited to one special message per call, but parents can call back as many times as they want, Forbes reports.

The Disney Bedtime Hotline has a somewhat rocky history, according to Inside the Magic. The hotline opened up in 2019 with additional characters — Woody, Anna, Elsa, Princess Jasmine, Spider-Man and even Yoda — before closing down.

Now, the service is being rebooted to provide comfort to kids (and perhaps some adults) during the COVID-19 pandemic, PennLive reports

In addition to the Bedtime Hotline, Disney is also offering free sleep activity cards and sleep progress charts for kids, in order to help parents keep track of their kid’s sleep schedules and motivate particularly restless children to get to bed on time, KTLA reports.

Disney also offers a “Bedtime Adventure Box” subscription service that comes with Disney PJs, storybooks, stickers and free downloadable reward chart and activity cards available on the website, Yahoo! News reports.
