With concert halls and theaters shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, many shows have moved online.
Here are 8 concerts and performances streaming this weekend.
‘Cats’
What: Every week, Andrew Lloyd Webber has streamed one of his musicals for free on The Shows Must Go On YouTube channel. This week, the channel is streaming a 1998 film version of “Cats,” starring Elaine Page.

The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert
What: A 1992 Queen concert that took place at Wembley Stadium in London several months after Freddie Mercury’s death. The surviving band members performed, and the show also featured appearances from Metallica, U2, Def Leppard, Guns N’Roses and Spinal Tap. The original concert was performed to raise AIDS awareness; the livestream of the concert will raise money for the World Health Organization and COVID-19 relief efforts.

Nightly Met Opera Streams
What: The Met Opera is airing a different recording of a past production each night while it remains closed to the public.
Friday: Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor” starring Joan Sutherland, from 1982.
Saturday: Verdi’s “Rigoletto” starring Diana Damrau, from 2013.
Sunday: Verdi’s “Nabucco” starring Liudmyla Monastyrska, from 2017.

Brad Paisley and Lady Antebellum
What: Brad Paisley and Lady Antebellum will be performing together live with full bands in an empty rehearsal hall in Nashville. Viewers are encouraged to make a donation to the American Red Cross.

What: This concert is a recording of Swift’s 2019 “City of Lover” show in Paris.

Prince and the Revolution: Live
What: This concert is a recording of a show from Prince’s “Purple Rain” tour in 1985. The streamed concert is in support of the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, and Google will match $2 for every $1 that is donated.
