National audiences may have seen Utah’s NBA team lose the 1998 NBA Finals this week in “The Last Dance.” But Utah’s contestant on “The Bachelor Presents: Listen to your Heart” walked away a winner.
“The Bachelor Presents: Listen to your Heart” features 20 bachelors and bachelorettes meeting and exploring relationships while living together and having dates that focus on music. Once the couples commit, they test their ability to sing together. They face challenges and live performances, too.
Only one couple can be left standing, though. And only one pair walked away from “Listen to Your Heart” as the winner — Bri and Chris. Bri hails from Provo.
“Their success came with a promise of writing, recording, and touring their music as a pair, according to Yahoo! Entertainment.
The couple recorded their track “Beyond,” which appeared on their new album.
Couples on the show have continued their relationship past the show. In fact, Bri and Chris told Entertainment Tonight that they are talking about marriage.
“It’s definitely been a topic of discussion,” Chris told Entertainment Tonight “But I’m not trying to get married tomorrow. And I know Bri isn’t either. We’re not trying to get married next month, but in the future, for sure.”
Chris and Bri wrote and recorded their debut album — “Chris & Bri” — as well when they were quarantined during the coronavirus pandemic.
The couple has spent time apart because of the lockdown and stay-at-home orders. But they are excited to see each other again.
“We are absolutely trying to be together. All this took us by surprise, and we were expecting to be together sooner or to have things opened up sooner,” Bri told Entertainment Tonight. “I have a compromised immune system, and so traveling is the biggest issue.”
