Burger King Italia introduced a new Whopper last month. In most respects, it’s a standard Whopper — except for one major difference: it has three times the onions as a normal Whopper.

Dubbed the “Social Distancing Whopper,” Italy’s newest fast food item aims to “to help others stay away,” according to its new commercial.

The ad was created by digital marketing agency Wunderman Thompson, and “it’s obviously a well-placed joke in a country that certainly could use even the smallest reason to smile,” Fast Company magazine reported.

Italy has been among the countries hit hardest by COVID-19.
