A former Disney cast member was recently accused of stealing more than $160,000 from Walt Disney Co., according to The Orlando Sentinel.

The cast member, Jennifer Insuasti, was arrested then later released from jail after she allegedly stole the money, WKMG reports

She previously worked as guest experience services coordinator at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

Officials said Insuasti used “old refund accounts to make false claims, then deposited the money into bank accounts belonging to herself, family and friends,” per WKMG.

Guests received their refunds. She allegedly stole money directly from the company.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Disney showed records of 41 fraudulent debit or credit card refunds, as well as four fraudulent check refunds, WESH reports. The FDLE plans to investigate the family and friends whose accounts were allegedly used in the scandal.

The entire series of events happened from March 2016 to July 2018.
