Disney Plus will debut a new original series from National Geographic — titled “Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom” — on Sept. 25, the company said Wednessay.
- The show will offer “all-access pass to explore the magic of nature within Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and The Seas with Nemo & Friends at Epcot.”
Josh Gad, who voices Olaf in “Frozen,” will narrate the project.
- Gad said: “Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom’ captures the spirit of these two world-famous parks and its animals and ushers that feeling directly into viewers’ living rooms. Each episode, we get to know these animals intimately and are immersed in the magic of Disney, and it’s been a joy giving voice to this ultimate adventure.”
About the show:
The eight-episode docuseries will offer a look at the 300 species and more than 5,000 animals living in the theme park. It will also show how the park’s crew keeps everything running throughout the day. Viewers will receive a look into:
- Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail
- Harambe Wildlife Reserve
- Kilimanjaro Safaris
- Discovery Island
- Tiger Temple
- The Seas with Nemo & Friends at Epcot
