“Ready for the freshest staycation ever?”
Nearly 30 years after Will Smith first arrived in Bel-Air to take his spot as the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” it is now your turn to live like royalty.
“The actor and entrepreneur is adding Airbnb host to his long resume and opening the doors to his former ‘kingdom,’ so fans can create some memories of their own,” Airbnb said in a statement.
Smith shared a photo on Instagram of him and DJ Jazzy Jeff, also known as Jeffrey Allen Towns, with the caption, “YOOOO!! Y’all think we should rent out the @freshprincehouse?? We’re making it happen with the squad at @airbnb!! #FreshPrince30th.”
Guests will have the opportunity to stay in Smith’s wing of the mansion that is outfitted in bold graffiti art, posh interiors and timeless family portraits, according to Travel + Leisure.
Your side of the wing will include a bedroom and bathroom as well as a poolside lounge and dining room. While the wing doesn’t include access to the kitchen, there's no need to worry— all meals “will be provided and served on silver platters,” including Philly cheesesteaks, according to Insider.
During their stay, guests will be able to shoot some basketball in the bedroom, play some throwback classics on the turntables like DJ Jazzy Jeff, don a “fly look” from Smith’s closet, and catch some sun on lounge chairs near pools, per the Airbnb listing.
However, to stay in this iconic mansion you will have to be a resident of Los Angelas County and guests must live in the same household.
The mansion will be available to book starting Sept. 29 with five one-night stays on Oct. 2, 5, 8, 11 and 14. It will only cost $30 for the night.
If you’re not lucky enough to be able to stay at the Bel-Air house, you’ll still be able to get your fix of “Fresh Prince,” during the one-episode reunion special planned to air on HBO Max at Thanksgiving, according to CNN.
