Why are they being released?

The “Star Wars” stamps are being released in collaboration with “Star Wars: Force for Change” — which promotes education among the “Star Wars” community — and the global nonprofit organization “FIRST” (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology).

  • Per StarWars.com: “Star Wars: Force for Change and FIRST have joined forces to expand access to STEM learning to more young people around the world, and to help them envision a brighter, more inclusive future.”
