We have our first look at The Joker in new ‘Justice League’ cut. Here’s why it’s surprising
‘Justice League’ director Zack Snyder revealed a potential new look for The Joker in the new film
“Justice League” director Zack Snyder recently shared a photo on social media that offers our first glimpse at the film’s version of The Joker.
- The photo shows The Joker holding up a Joker card. You can’t really see The Joker since he’s faded in the background.
- The Joker doesn’t resemble Jared Leto’s Joker from “Suicide Squad.” Instead, it looks more like Heath Ledger’s Joker seen in “The Dark Knight” trilogy from Christopher Nolan.

Details on new ‘Justice League’
HBO Max will release Snyder’s cut of ‘Justice League’ in March, as I wrote about for the Deseret News. The “Snyder Cut” is the original version of the film “Justice League,” which featured the team-up of Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman and other heroes.
Snyder was the original director before he dropped out. Joss Whedon took over. The film released with 80% to 85% of the original cut, as I wrote about for the Deseret News. The Joker was not included in the recent film.
Rumors have suggested that the Snyder version of Joker would be more creepy than what we saw in “Suicide Squad.”
