Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige recently revealed the chances of there ever being a “Star Wars,” Marvel crossover movie.

Feige recently talked to Yahoo! Entertainment about the “WandaVision” television show. But he was also asked about the chances of “Star Wars” and Marvel having a crossover event since Lucasfilm and Marvel are both owned by Disney.

  • “If you’d ask me if anything we’re talking about right now was in the realm of possibility 20 years ago, I would’ve said, ‘I don’t think so,’” he said.
  • He added, “But I really don’t think so. I don’t think there’s any reason for it.”

Feige said the Patton Oswalt scene from “Parks and Recreation” is the closest we’ll get to a Marvel, “Star Wars’ crossover.

Marvel and ‘Star Wars’ connection

Funny enough, Marvel and “Star Wars” already have a comic book connection. Marvel publishes “Star Wars” comic book stories, mostly centered around Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess, Leia, Darth Vader and more.

In a similar sense, “Star Trek” and “X-Men” had a crossover event called  “Planet X,” which Marvel released in 1998.
