A new photo leak from “Thor: Love and Thunder” reveals that former cast members from “Thor: Ragnarok” might be returning for the next Marvel movie.
What’s going on?
New photos show that Matt Damon — who played the character Loki in a fake play in “Ragnarok” — will return for the same role. And Sam O'Neill, who played Odin in that same play, making a return, per Digital Spy.
Per the Daily Mail, it turns out Melissa McCarthy will appear as a fake version of Hela, who was played by Cate Blanchett in “Thor: Ragnarok.”

Flashback
Back in February, a new set of pictures from the new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie “Thor: Love and Thunder” showed off new looks for stars Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt, too, as I wrote about before.
- The photos showed Thor wearing a costume that had a total ’80s rock band vibe, and StarLord’s costume looked pretty similar.
More details
Natalie Portman will return to the series as Jane Foster and apparently take on the powers of Thor, which was a big storyline in the comic.
The cast will also be joined by Christian Bale, who will play Gorr the God Butcher (there were rumors he would play Beta Ray Bill), according to Collider.
