“Star Wars” legend Mark Hamill revealed the one meme that makes him cringe — the one where Luke Skywalker stares into the center of a lightsaber.

What’s going on?

Hamill recently shared a photo of his least-favorite “Star Wars” meme on Twitter, explaining why he dislikes it so much.

  • “This makes me cringe every time I see it,” he wrote.
  • He added, “I don’t remember doing this in the movie. I think it’s just an on-set production still, otherwise Obi-Wan wouldn’t look so remarkably unconcerned.”

Mark Hamill and Luke Skywalker

Hamill has been talking about his famous Luke Skywalker character since fall 2020 when he made a brief appearance as Skywalker in “The Mandalorian” Season 2.

  • “Sometimes the greatest gifts are the most unexpected and something you never realized you wanted until it was given,” Hamill tweeted.

Hamill — whose face was used with CGI technology for the celebratory “Star Wars” moment — tweeted about the appearance in the days following the reaction, too, as I wrote for the Deseret News.

  • “The fact that we were able to keep my involvement a secret for over a year with no leaks is nothing less than a miracle. A real triumph for spoiler-haters everywhere!”

This came even though Hamill said he was done playing the character after “The Rise of Skywalker,” per HuffPost.
