- The experience — called “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure” — will be a pavilion experience and will open at EPCOT at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
- The opening date will be Oct. 1, 2021, which is the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World opening up.
- Disney Parks said of the ride: “In this delicious new attraction, you’ll feel like you’ve shrunk to the size of Chef Remy as you scurry through Gusteau’s famous restaurant on a wild adventure for the whole family (no height requirement!)”
The adventure will be reminiscent of Paris, where “Ratatouille” takes place. The location will include the La Crêperie de Paris, a new restaurant that offers table- and quick-service options.
Here’s the catch — this will only be around for 18 months, according to Disney Parks.
- “The castle will add even more magic at night, joined by icons at each of the other three theme parks as they transform into Beacons of Magic,” according to Disney Parks.
Disney’s Parks, Experiences and Products has reportedly performed better financially in the first quarter of 2021 despite the COVID-19 pandemic, The Orange County Register reports. This comes without the parks being open.
