Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli decided to get out of the country and travel down to Mexico, now that they’ve put the college admissions scandal behind them.
An unnamed source told People magazine that the couple was “excited” to visit Mexico.
- “It’s their first trip in a long time,” the source told People magazine.
- “They flew to Cabo with friends,” the source said. “They were excited about the trip.”
Per People magazine, Loughlin was seen wearing a pink T-shirt and a straw hat. Giannulli wore a dark top and pants with a white baseball hat. I don’t know how that’s going to help your day, but it might.
The visit to Mexico comes after a somewhat dramatic saga. Loughlin and Giannulli allegedly filed two requests to “travel to San Jose Cabo, Mexico, to spend time with (their) family,” according to NBC News.
A judge approved the move. The trip was supposedly for June 16 to June 21. So, clearly, this is that trip.
- Giannulli and Loughlin’s legal teams argued that the couple “acted in compliance during (their) time of supervised release” after they spent time in prison for the college admissions scandal, according to NBC News.
There were some rumors that Loughlin and Giannulli wanted to visit Idaho, and possibly even move there to work on their marriage, as I wrote for the Deseret News.
Though the Department of Homeland Security has added restrictions for crossing the U.S.-Mexico border because of COVID-19, you can still fly there, per USA Today.
