Disneyland and Disney California Adventure have added some single-rider lines back to specific rides at the California theme parks, Orange County Register reports.
These rides now have single-rider options available:
- Space Mountain
- Indiana Jones Adventure
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
- Star Tours
- Splash Mountain
At California Adventure, the following rides have single-rider lines:
- Radiator Springs Racers
- Incredicoaster
- Grizzly River Run
This is a big deal for Disneyland
Per Deadline, single-rider lines had been wanted for a while among Disney guests, mostly because they help lines move quicker.
- “Prior to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, single-rider lines had long been sought out by visitors, as a way of getting on rides quicker,” Deadline reports. “The only downside, for those choosing to step into these lines, is that they’re less likely to find themselves seated near the other members of their party.”
Disneyland changes
Back on June 15, Disneyland said it would no longer require fully vaccinated people to wear face masks. This was on the same day that the park decided to allow out-of-state residents to visit the park, as I wrote for the Deseret News.
