I am a registered Republican and did not vote for President Trump. I am sick and tired of being called a Trump hater, RINO and unpatriotic just because I don’t approve of the president’s immoral behavior.

Even worse is the insinuation that anyone who attends an anti-Trump rally is there because they don’t have a job and have nothing better to do with their time. I have been employed since I was 16 and have always done my best to support myself and my family. Not supporting Trump has nothing to do with hate or party loyalty and everything to do with character, integrity and moral values. I believe President Trump is lacking in the areas I mentioned.

It appears to me that Trump apologists have a difficult time defending the president’s actions, so they resort to name-calling, personal attacks and blaming the news media. Disagreement and valid criticism is not hate. I have every right as a free citizen to criticize or disagree with any elected official.

Trump supporters love to dish it out but can’t take it when it is their guy in power. It is like President Trump has become a political messiah who can do no wrong and is just being persecuted. I believe we as a people are better than all the political discord and divisiveness we are experiencing.
