I have spent years of my life finding joy in the beauty of the earth that we have been blessed with. It’s rare to find the calm that comes from unbothered places such as Arches, Canyonlands and other national parks. I would say that these spots of land are there to provide the little amount of peace that is left here in society.
There is no doubt that watching these places waste away into industrial mess will only take our world one step closer to destruction. The stars will fade, wildlife may be forced out or even forced to adapt to another pollution-ridden environment. These places are preserved for a reason, and should be maintained that way with respect. The world gives us so much beauty and time to find ourselves; it’s about time we give it something back.
