Why is it that the Rasmussen Reports poll results on the current presidential race seemingly always favor the president?

According to RealClearPolitics’s updated national listings on Wednesday, Sept. 16, the Rasmussen Reports poll showed Trump with a 52% approval rating while the other seven national polls — including Gallup, Reuters and Politico — showed the president with approval ratings ranging from 38 to 48. In the category of the current election, Rasmussen Reports showed Trump ahead by one point nationally while the other four polls listed showed Biden ahead by six to nine points. And those are typical of the Rasmussen Reports presidential poll results compared with those of other national polling companies.

I guess the accuracy of the Rasmussen Reports’ contrarian polling results will be revealed after Nov. 3.

Editor’s note: A previous version of this letter confused polling from The Rasmussen Report with polls by Scott Rasmussen. The latest poll by Scott Rasmussen shows Biden +6.
