I want to thank Sen. Mike Lee for his concise, thoughtful statement during the debate on the objections to the electoral votes cast by various states. I disagree with Sen. Lee quite often, but when he read from the Constitution the duties of Congress regarding the counting of electoral votes, I was proud of him.

He taught a real lesson in how that process should work. Perhaps he could hold a class for those who objected and teach or remind them of how the founders intended the process to work. The election is over; it’s time to move on.
