Opinion: Get vaccinated for our children and grandchildren

No one would ever want to be the reason a child caught COVID-19.

Katie, my 7-year old-granddaughter, is sick with COVID-19. They say COVID-19 has become the pandemic of the unvaccinated. However, the delta variant is also becoming the pandemic of the innocent.

The next time you are in the local grocery store and see a mother with her children, you can help protect those little ones by wearing a mask. Certainly, you would want to wear a mask at church when sitting by a family with children. Better yet, you could also get vaccinated. Do it for our children and grandchildren. No one would ever want to be the reason a child caught COVID-19.
