Yves "Jetman" Rossy — the name says it all.

XDubai released an inspiring video on their YouTube channel this week showing "Jetman" Rossy and his protege, Vince Reffet, strapped to jetpacks and flying high above the Dubai skyline. Spiraling a half-mile above the earth, the two come within feet of Dubai's famed Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest man-made structure.

The men riding these jetpacks are no strangers to flight.

"Jetman" Rossy, 55, has been a professional pilot most of his life. He was a fighter pilot for the Swiss Air Force and later a commercial airline pilot.

"I truly believe that flying is a part of my DNA," Rossy says on the Jetman Dubai website. "I always had a dream of flying free in the open skies, because that is where you can truly be free."

Rossy's love of flying led him to pioneer a movement that had only been seen in science fiction movies: in 2004, Yves began testing jetpacks using two small model jet turbines, one attached to each wing. This allowed him to maintain level flight and led to the four-engine concept he's been using since 2006.

This isn't the first time "Jetman" Rossy has appeared on video flying a jetpack. Two years ago, Rossy raced a rally car along an 8-mile course on BBC's hit series "Top Gear" (video in left sidebar). His current jetpack can reach speeds up to 190 mph.

In the Jetman Dubai: Young Feathers video, Reffet recalls his first experience with the jetpack, saying, "It feels so natural suddenly it was like an extension of my body. I felt that I was flying."

Born into a family of parachutists, Reffet has spent over half his life jumping out of airplanes. Now 30 years old, he has made a name for himself appearing in many wingsuit flying and B.A.S.E.-jumping films. Reffet is one of the most accomplished and awarded freefliers over the past decade.

Matt Tribe set a goal to use the pass 100 times to serve others, including the homeless and those in need. On his website Random Acts of Pasta, Tribe kept a running total of how many deliveries he made, and surpassed his goal by 25.

"It was one of the most fun and fulfilling things I've ever done," said Matt Tribe on his YouTube page.

In a video released Tuesday, Mashable explores 432 Park Avenue, highlighted by a $95 million penthouse. At 1,396 feet, 432 Park Ave is the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere and the third tallest building in the U.S.

Set to open in Spring 2015, this 84-story building boasts some of the most exclusive views of the Big Apple. In addition to incredible views, the 104-apartment condominium features amenities like a golf training facility, and private dining and screening rooms.

CPI believes that airlines can reduce the amount of materials used in building an aircraft by manufacturing windowless airplanes making them thinner, lighter and stronger. These advancements would also reduce the amount of fuel used, saving money for both the airline industry and the consumer.

There are no immediate plans for windowless passenger planes to be manufactured, but CPI and other companies continue to work on the design and concept.

Before his arrival to Moscow, Symmonds wrote on Runner's World in his online diary, "As an American, I believe in freedom of speech and equality for all, and therefore disagree with the laws that Russia has put in place."

Symmonds went on to say, "If I am placed in a race with a Russian athlete, I will shake his hand, thank him for his country's generous hospitality, and then, after kicking his (expletive) in the race, silently dedicate the win to my gay and lesbian friends back home. Upon my return, I will then continue to fight for their rights in my beloved democratic union."

On July 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed into law a bill that criminalizes public expression of support for nontraditional relationships. And Symmonds was well aware of the consequences for violating this law.

The runner told the Associated Press after his race that he couldn't comment on the issue, saying, "I can't talk about it. You're not allowed to talk about it here. I'll get put in jail for it."

Runner's World also reported Symmonds saying, "The job here is to represent the United States and win a medal, and I did that. At the same time, it's satisfying to win a medal on Russian soil as an American who believes in equality for all people."

The AP also quoted Symmonds saying, "Upon my return (to the U.S.), I will then continue to fight for their rights in my beloved democratic union."
