Former USU tight end Chris Cooley is once again proving he has talent beyond football.

Now with the Washington Redskins, Cooley impressed many with his newsy, racy, off-the-wall website.

He blogs, sells tees and generally makes a bundle off peripheral stuff to his day job.

Kind of like a small scale, football-related Jimmy Buffet.

Now Cooley is into an entirely different endeavor. He and his brother have produced a movie called "Ghosts Don't Exist."

I didn't expect much when I heard about his web site, but was surprised. Then I found myself rolling my eyes when I read he was producing a movie. But checking the trailer, it actually looks better than I expected, too.

Next time he has an idea, I'm going to reserve judgment.
