Traditionally, Utah County players have gone to BYU. But this years Ute roster, for example, includes Covey, as well as other Utah County products Isaac Asiata, Jason Fanaika, Chase Hansen, Chase Loftin, Evan Moeai, Pita Taumoepenu and Jason Whittingham.
I think it is (changing), Covey said. I think Utah is a school that everybody is looking at now and saying, Wow, this is big time; guys are competing for the Pac-12 championship and all that, and all the hard feelings are starting to diminish.
Or maybe theyre increasing, since players who once wouldnt consider Utah are now going north.
