Yup. Him again.

Dante Exum played just one game in summer league action in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, due to an injured ankle. Looks like more down time.

Injuries happen. Players have to play. But this seems silly.

Players like representing their country. This injury occurred in Australia's game against Slovenia, today. Players can be prevented from riding RV's, water-skiing, etc., by their contracts. I believe anyone who is making millions in the NBA shouldn't be playing in a warmup game for the FIBA Oceania Championships.

But Exum was.

Exum needs real-time practice. But he needs his health even more. Whether or not this injury is serious, the message certainly is: Loyalty to country is good, but loyalty to those who invested millions on you is in another category.
