Three players on the University of Utah football team’s tremendous defensive unit were named Walter Camp All-Americans on Thursday during the ESPN College Football Awards show in Atlanta.

Defensive end Bradlee Anae was named to the first team, while fellow defensive lineman Leki Fotu and defensive back Jaylon Johnson were named to the second team.

It is the first time the Utes have had three players named to the Walter Camp team in the same season, and there have now been 16 players total in program history named. Anae is the eighth named to the first team.

Oregon Ducks offensive tackle Penei Sewell, who prepped at Desert Hills High School in St. George, was also named to the first team. That honor was added on a night in which he won the Outland Trophy, given to the nation’s best interior lineman.
