SALT LAKE CITY — Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Trevor Williams thanked God for blessing him with a new baby — just days after the couple adopted a child.

Williams said he and his wife, Jackie, discovered they were expecting just one day after they adopted another child.

The couple adopted a baby girl named JoJo this week, according to CBS Pittsburgh, and are expecting a baby boy, due sometime in January 2020.

“On Divine Mercy Sunday, Jojo’s birthmom told us that she wanted Jackie & I to be the adoptive parents of her daughter. The next day Jackie & I found out God has a great sense of humor by showering us with the grace of another child. Baby boy due in Jan Holy Family, pray for us.”
