SALT LAKE CITY — Mike Conley’s return for the Utah Jazz looks more hopeful.

The Jazz listed him as probable Friday afternoon, ahead of the team’s home game Saturday against Sacramento. The point guard has missed 14 straight games since reinjuring a left hamstring strain.

Conley was shooting with teammates Thursday before Utah’s 138-132 loss to New Orleans at Smoothie King Center, Deseret News Jazz beat writer Sarah Todd reported. He also took part in a workout with Jazz training staff.

Conley is averaging 13.6 points and 4.6 assists while playing 22 games in his first season in Utah. He missed five games earlier in the year before reaggravating the left hamstring injury late in the Jazz’s 109-102 win over Orlando on Dec. 17.
