Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James recently bought a new castle for his kingdom, and it’s formerly owned by a soap opera star, according to The Los Angeles Times.
James — who is currently down in Florida competing for an NBA title — recently purchased a mansion for $36.75 million.
The home — which has 2.5 acres — was previously owned by Lee Phillip Bell, the co-creator of “The Young and the Restless,” who died earlier in 2020.
- “It was previously owned by other celebrities, including actor Charles Boyer and Howard Hughes, who leased the mansion to his onetime lover Katharine Hepburn,” according to Forbes.
James currently owns two homes in Brentwood — one that cost $21 million and another that costs $23 million.
The home comes with:
- Four bedrooms
- Seven bathrooms
- Two guesthouses
- A tennis court
- A movie theater
