  • Kickoff: Thursday, 7:30 p.m. MST
  • Venue: Maverik Stadium (25,100 capacity; approximately 5,350 fans will be allowed in)
  • Surface: AstroTurf GameDay Grass
  • TV: CBS Sports Network
  • Livestream: CBS Sports
  • Radio: KZNS 1280 AM/97.5 FM
  • Series: The Falcons lead the all-time series 5-3 and have won four of the last five, including last season’s 31-7 victory in Colorado.
  • Weather: Clear skies with temperatures in the low 20s.

THE STAKES

For Utah State: The Aggies will be looking to get a winning streak going after grabbing their first victory of the season last week against the New Mexico Lobos.

For Air Force: Same goes for the Falcons, who won their season opener before losing two straight. They had a game at Wyoming canceled, followed by a victory over New Mexico before their contest last week against Colorado State was also canceled.

THE TRENDS

For Utah State: The Aggies have been inconsistent over the last 10 years with six winning seasons and four losing ones. After finishing above .500 in 2018 and 2019, the best Utah State can finish this season is 3-4.

For Air Force: The Falcons also have had six winning seasons and four losing ones in the past 10 years. At 2-2 entering Thursday, they’re still in position to finish .500 or better this season, which would start a new streak of winning seasons.

NEXT UP

The Aggies are scheduled to close the regular season Dec. 12 on the road against Colorado State, while the Falcons aren’t scheduled to play again until Dec. 19 when they finish their regular season on the road against Army.
