For the second year in a row, the four college gymnastics programs in the Beehive State — Utah, BYU, SUU and Utah State — will compete together at the Best of Utah, a podium event to be held Jan. 9 at the Maverik Center in West Valley City.

It has been determined that up to 1,700 fans will be admitted into the 12,600-seat arena for the event, which is approximately 7.4% of capacity.

Utah, which will begin the season ranked No. 4 in the country, won the inaugural event and will open the 2021 iteration on bars. BYU is ranked No. 17 in the nation and will start on beam. No. 23 SUU will be on vault and No. 32 Utah State will be on floor exercises.

After Utah, BYU finished the inaugural event in second, SUU came in third and Utah State was fourth.

Presale for tickets begins Tuesday morning and will run through Christmas Day, after which tickets will go on sale to the general public. Fans will be in pods between one and eight seats.

Tickets can be purchased here.
