Utahns Tony Finau and Zac Blair went in opposite directions during the third round of the Charles Schwab Challenge Saturday at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

Finau fired a 3-under-par 67 to move up eight spots into a tie for 27th place heading into Sunday’s final round. He stands at 6-under-par 204, seven shots behind leader Xander Schauffele.

Blair, meanwhile, shot 10 shots worse Saturday with a 5-over-par 75 that dropped him 38 spots to a tie for 63rd place at 211 among the 67 players who made the cut.

Finau made five birdies on the day to go with two bogeys, but wasn’t able to birdie either of the Par 5s on the course.

After making just two bogeys in his first two rounds, Blair had five bogeys along with a double bogey on the 12th hole to go with birdies on the first two holes.

Five players are one shot behind Schauffele — Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Branden Grace, Collin Morikawa and reigning U.S. Open champion Gary Woodland.
