Americans across the country have already started to receive stimulus relief checks. Well, a lot of Americans have. Others? Not so much.

What’s going on:

  • Millions of Americans can expect to receive checks as a part of the $2.2 trillion stimulus bill passed by Congress to help aid Americans during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
  • The IRS has rolled out a new tracking tool called “Get My Payment,” which will launch by April 17.
  • The tool will give people a chance to update their direct deposit information from the IRS.
  • The IRS tweeted about the status of the checks, too.
  • IRS said: “#IRS deposited the first economic impact payments into taxpayers’ bank accounts today. We know many people are anxious to get their payments; we’ll continue issuing them as fast as we can.”

But not everyone has gotten it yet ...
