Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is offering parents and children to take a new “schoolcation” for traveling parents.

  • The hotel offers children and families a luxury experience during the school year.
  • Basically, the hotel hosts school within a learning space, where children complete their virtual learning seasons.
This new offering exclusively for our Resort guests will be both helpful to parents, as well as something really fun for kids to experience. Many kids have been completing school work in their homes for a while now. A chance to mix up their learning environment, and combine school and playtime at the Resort, is sure to be a welcome treat and create a memory that will last a lifetime, Thomas Steinhauer, general manager and regional vice president of Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, said in a statement.

Students will receive the following:

  • Wifi
  • Desk area
  • Physical distance from other students

How the schedule works:

  • You can choose between half-day or full-day school.
  • The cost is $50 for 9 a.m. to noon or $100 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Supervisors oversee the study sessions. These supervisors have experience working with children, too. Parents can then spend the day relaxing and vacationing on their own.

Once the schoolwork is done, children can take recess at the resort, which includes an island playground, a pool, a lazy river, waterslide and outdoor recreation activities and spots.

This isn’t the only place

Other hotels — like Great Wolf Lodge, Poconos Shawnee Inn, Monarch Beach Resort and Ritz-Carlton Reynolds at Lake Oconee — are offering some similar promotions for children who are e-learning, according to “Good Morning America.”

This is one way that hotels are working to stay creative and keep business alive during the coronavirus pandemic.
