Slack — the worldwide business communication tool — experience slowdowns Monday morning as many Americans returned to work from the holiday break.
What’s going on?
The American workforce received a little surprise when it returned from the winter holiday break — Slack wasn’t working.
Slack confirmed in a statement to Twitter that it was experiencing issues.
- “Customers may experience issues connecting to Slack to loading channels at this time. Our team is on the case and we will keep you posted. Apologies for any disruption.”

Social media reactions
Many people reacted to the news on social media, saying the workplace return should be delayed. Others joked that everyone will start using email again.
