What is ‘Hawkeye’ Episode 3 about?

At the end of Episode 2, we saw that young Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) and Avengers veteran Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) were captured by the Track Suit Mafia criminals. They said their boss was going to speak with the two heroes. The episode ended with a shot of a woman under red lights.

This was Maya Lopez, played by Alaqua Cox. In the Marvel comics, Lopez goes by the name Echo. So we’ll likely see Echo’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through the next episode. Otherwise, we’re unsure what might happen in the next episode.

The “Hawkeye” cast includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Cox. It is directed by Rhys Thomas and the directing duo Bert and Bertie.
